Mary Ellen Kranz talked about “blending photos with fabric.” She’s extremely knowledgeable about digital cameras and photography. So, once again, I apologize for the poor quality of the photo that I took.
I really enjoyed this lecture, and seeing pictures of her quilts. She takes a photo image, and then builds her quilts around it. She also gave a lot of good tips for taking interesting photos, as well as building a library of texture images that could be used in quilts.
She is the author of “Blending Photos with Fabric 2,” which I purchased but haven’t had a chance to do more than flip through. However, if it’s anything like her lecture, I think it will be a gem.
